With approximately 1300m2 formwork package spread over 3 levels, Oriform ensured the structure was completed as required by the client.
Our Contribution
At Orifom, we are proud to have been a part of this project and contribute our expertise in formwork and structural steel. The master plan for this school includes the construction of a three-storey GLA Building, which stands for General Learning Area. This modern building will provide additional learning spaces for the students, allowing them to have a better learning environment.
Our role in this project was crucial as it involved providing formwork services for the foundation and concrete structure of the building. Formwork is an important aspect of any construction project as it provides temporary support and molds for concrete structures. Our team utilised modern techniques and equipment to ensure precision and efficiency in our work, resulting in a strong foundation for the GLA Building.
In addition to formwork, we were also responsible for the installation of structural steel in the building. Structural steel is essential in construction as it provides strength and support to the building’s framework. Our experienced team carefully fabricated and installed the steel components, following strict safety protocols and adhering to engineering specifications.
The GLA Building also features a unique design with large windows and open spaces for natural light to enter. This required our team to use specialised techniques such as shoring systems and scaffolding to safely work on high levels while maintaining the integrity of the structure. We ensured that all safety measures were followed at every stage to provide a safe working environment for our team members.
