Marymount Catholic College New Tech Building

Marymount Catholic College, Burleigh QLD

With over 3000m2 of formwork, the key feature of this build was the provision of off form feature concrete core and blade walls.

Our Contribution

Marymount College’s campus underwent expansion to accommodate its growing student population. Orifom played a significant role in the formwork and structural development of the new expansion building, collaborating with Herron Coorey Builders.

The external works entailed the construction of four versatile sports courts, covered locker facilities, and new padmount transformer works. These endeavours presented a challenge due to the school’s location on a floodplain.

Project Summary

One of the key components of this project was the construction of a three-storey technology building. This building now houses various facilities such as junior kitchens, hospitality kitchens, a dining room, a staff room, general learning areas, and dedicated spaces for CAD, digital learning, and robotics.
