Our Contribution
Kane Constructions secured the Design and Construct contract for an expansive training facility in Pinkenba, Brisbane QLD. This state-of-the-art facility boasts a two-storey administration building adorned with a sleek glass curtain wall façade. Designed to house the esteemed Electrogroup executive team, staff, and trainers, it encompasses executive offices, open-plan office space for 40 staff members, a well-appointed boardroom, meeting rooms, fully-equipped kitchens, and modern amenities.
The training building, spanning two storeys, boasts a pre-cast concrete panel façade. It offers top-notch facilities for up to 300 students, catering to pre-trade, apprenticeship, and post-trade courses. Eight classrooms equipped with timber-framed and lined training bays allow students to engage in hands-on practice, working on wiring dummy boards and equipment. Additionally, seminar and computer rooms provide contemporary spaces for theory-based learning. Notably, the training building also features a grid-connected 43kW solar panel system installed on its rooftop.
